Out of Hours and Emergencies

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life threatening emergency, please dial 999.

Struggling to get an appointment?

Any system we devise will not meet the needs of all patients, at all times, and we recognise that some people struggle to call at 8.30 for a variety of reasons. If this is the case, you can either request an appointment or for help and advice using the online triage system

If you have consistently struggled to get an appointment to suit your needs and need help, please email stoccg.marplemedicalpractice@nhs.net or ask to speak to the Practice or Assistant Practice Manager. We can in limited circumstances unlock appointments on days where we have sufficient capacity to help you.

Non-urgent advice: Covid-19 Notice

GP appointments are initially by telephone/ Video call. If a face to face appointment is required the GP will make arrangements for you.

The surgery is locked. Entry for a booked appointment is via intercom on the right as you enter the porch – please press one of the buttons and confirm no symptoms as per declaration on the door.
