Dr Madhu Valluri –
GP Partner
Since I qualified from medical school in 1999, I completed a variety of hospital posts before training in General practice in Stockport in 2006. Along side General practice my areas of special interests include Diabetes & Minor Surgery. I also supervise Medical Students and Junior Doctors training to be GPs. Outside of work I enjoy playing cricket and spending time with family.

Dr Howard Sunderland –
GP Partner
I graduated in 2001 from Manchester Medical School I trained in the North West initially as a hospital doctor within cardiology and general medicine. I chose to move into general practice to start my training in 2007 and have been at the practice since 2011, shortly after completion. I enjoy a variety of outdoor pursuits and spending time with my family.

Dr Jessica Nicholls

Dr Maryann James – GP
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2017. I trained in the West Midlands as a hospital doctor before moving to Stockport in 2019 for GP training, which I completed in 2023. I am in the process of developing a specialist interest in Women’s Health: I have trained in fitting contraceptive coils and have a diploma from the Royal College of the Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I am also doing a diploma in Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London, which I am hoping to finish in May 2025. Outside of work, I enjoy baking and spending time with my family.

Meet Our Advanced Practitioners and Nurse Team
Ian Dean – Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)
An ACP is a medically trained professional who works alongside our doctors diagnosing, investigating and treating medical conditions.

Sister Nikki Woodiwiss – Practice Nurse
Nikki works Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays undertaking management of Long Term Conditions including home visits to our Housebound Patients.
Sister Tracy Lea – Practice Nurse
Tracy works Wednesday, Thursdays & Fridays undertaking management of long term conditions including home visits to our housebound patients.
Mrs Jemma Pinchin –
Health Care Assistant
Jemma runs Surgeries most days taking blood tests & blood pressures, doing immunisations, health checks and ECG’s also assisting with Minor Surgery for time to time.
